\u2026 Awkward\u2026
\nHi, I\u2019m doing a blog. Gosh that feels like, ugh. Ack. Why? For those of you reading this and who know me (which I assume is all of you for now? At least until this thing gets going\u2026 or until I\u2019m the only one left reading it?), you might feel like I should definitely NOT start a blog. In fact, \u201cStop now,\u201d you\u2019re probably thinking. And to that I say, \u201cYeah, I know.\u201d And If I could, I would. Stop writing this, I mean. Now. Stop. Typing. Now.<\/p>\n
But, nope. I\u2019m going to have to keep typing, looks like.<\/p>\n
So, for starters, why the title \u201cscribblemescribbleyou\u201d? Well, I\u2019m calling my posts scribbles, because that\u2019s what they feel like to me. So, for most of my life I\u2019ve written, or thought about writing, or been told I\u2019m not terrible at writing. But I keep that to myself because writing is so personal! Exclamation point. Some may get why I\u2019d choose to hide this thing that always felt more like a problem, like a high beam of light shining directly into a window that looks directly into me. Scary. And, on the other hand, some might see that not doing something that is so personal and essential to who I am, well that\u2019s a problem, too.<\/p>\n

So how about if I just dabble? I\u2019ll write these scribbles and maybe they\u2019ll turn into whole pictures, all fleshed out, or maybe not. \u00a0Maybe I\u2019ll become more fully who I am– a goal of mine. \u00a0I want to practice, is the point. So: scribbles. Plus, it\u2019s fun to say, \u201cscribblemescribbleyou.\u201d And, nobody had taken that domain name yet, so I did… at which point it became the immediate property of WordPress, and they charged me a monthly fee for it!
